What is Maruti Suzuki P0505?
P0505 means the ECM cannot maintain the target idle speed. On Maruti MPFI engines, the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve controls air bypass at idle. When it gets clogged with carbon deposits or fails electrically, idle speed becomes unstable. This code is very common on city-driven vehicles that spend long periods idling in traffic.
